The surgeon has in his hands, and through his instruments, in general our organs like appendix, pancreas, liver, vesicle, uterus, etc, and his objective is not only to heal us or save our lives, but to give us a better life quality.

We all submit ourselves to a surgical procedure knowing and hoping that the result be positive. None of us like to feel pain, but is normal to feel pain and aches after a procedure.

What would you think if I told you that medicine has advanced a lot in the last years, and that now we can opt for a type of surgery (in the cases that apply), that is less invasive, and the recovery time and pain is even a 50% less than other type of procedures?

The procedure is known as “Mini Laparoscopic Surgery”, which is a procedure that minimizes the post surgery pain and the complications, accelerating in this way the patient’s recovery.

Mini Laparoscopic Surgery uses work
instruments between 2.0 and 3.5 milimeters.

This means that the incisions in the skin do not need to be stitched anymore, and therefore there are no scars, as the conventional surgery does. In the year 2009, Doctor Roberto Gallardo Díaz brings to Guatemala the Mini Laparoscopic Surgery, and founds the Group of Mini Invasive Surgery of Guatemala. Becoming, in this way, the pioneer of Mini Surgery in our country. Thanks to the Laparoscopic Mini Surgery, and to the experience of Doctor Gallardo Díaz, the Group of Mini Surgery of Guatemala can give you a better quality of life.
